מנצח רתם ניר, רתם ניר, יליד ישראל, הוא ראש הצוות המוזיקלי ומנצח הבית באופרה הישראלית ועוזר למנהל המוזיקלי בתזמורת הסימפונית הישראלית ראשון לציון והיה עוזר מנצח בתזמורת הקאמרית הישראלית. הוא ניצח על מיטב התזמורות הישראליות כולל הפילהרמונית הישראלית, התזמורת הסימפונית הישראלית ראשון לציון, התזמורת הקאמרית הישראלית, הקאמרטה הישראלית ירושלים, והתזמורת הסימפונית חיפה. 21־ סימפונט רעננה, התזמורת הקאמרית הקיבוצית, אנסמבל המאה ה השתתף בתוכנית ההכשרה למנצחים צעירים של פסטיבל ורבייה במסגרתה עבד עם תזמורת הפסטיבל ועם המנצחים להב שני וכריסטוף אשנבך. הוא ניצח על התזמורת הקאמרית הגאורגית אינגולשטדט בהפקה של האורטוריה "ניצחון הזמן וההתפכחות" מאת הנדל. לאחרונה הוביל את כנס הקיץ של תזמורת הנוער הלאומית לכלי נשיפה. רתם ניר זכה בתחרויות הניצוח ״שרביט הזהב״ (בשיתוף בית הספר למוזיקה על שם בוכמן־מהטה והתזמורת הסימפונית חיפה) ו״חממת המנצחים״ של התזמורת הקאמרית הישראלית. את חינוכו המוזיקלי רכש בקונסרבטוריון נס ציונה, וסיים בהצטיינות את לימודיו בתיכון הארצי לאמנויות על שם תלמה ילין. בצה״ל שירת במעמד מוזיקאי מצטיין כמעבד לרביעיות כלי קשת ותוך כדי כך למד בבית הספר הגבוה למוזיקה על שם בוכמן־ מהטה הן ניצוח בכיתתו של יואב תלמי והן נגינה בבסון בכיתתו של דניאל מזעקי. במסגרת לימודיו השתתף בכיתות אמן בניצוח עם המנצחים אוסמו ונסקה ואיוון פישר. באופרה הישראלית ניצח על ישמש כעוזר מנצח לטימור זנגייב בפסטיבל זלצבורג בביצוע 2024 "לה טרוויאטה" מאת ורדי. בקיץ האופרה "המהמר" מאת פרוקופייב. פסנתרן גאורגיס אוסוקינס, בתחרות שופן 19 הפסנתרן הלטבי גאורגיס אוסוקינס זכה להכרה בינלאומית כאשר השתתף בגיל הבינלאומית לפסנתר, ועד מהרה היה לחביב הקהל. האינטרפרטציות שלו תוארו על ידי המבקרים כמהפכניות, יוצאות דופן ובלתי צפויות. זמן קצר לאחר תחרות זו, ניגן אוסוקינס בהופעות בכורה חשובות בקונצרטהאוס בברלין, פסטיבל הפסנתר בחבל הרוהר, הלייסהאלה ואלבפילהרמוני בהמבורג, סדרת הפסנתר הבינלאומית בברן, פסטיבל לוקנהאוס, פסטיבל המוזיקה גשטאד, אולם תזמורת הרדיו הלאומית הפולנית בקטוביץ', אולם הפלייהאוס בוונקובר, תיאטרון המטרופוליטן בטוקיו ואולם טונגיונג לצד גדעון קרמר, ובעונת 101־ הופיע גאורגיס אוסוקינס בפסטיבל זלצבורג ה 2021 בדרום קוריאה. בשנת הופיע לראשונה בויגמור הול בלונדון, אולם ורדי במילנו, פסטיבל המוזיקה בשנגחאי וקרנגי הול 22/23 בניו יורק. העונה הנוכחית כוללת הופעת בכורה ברסיטל באולם פייר בולז בברלין, והופעות בפסטיבל סראטה מוסיקלי במילנו ובוויגמור הול. גאורגי אוסוקינס משתף פעולה עם גדעון קרמר בסיורים ברחבי אירופה, אסיה וארצות הברית. לצד הפסנתרן לוקאס דבארז' הוכרז כאמן אורח קבוע של הקרמראטה שנים. חברת התקליטים הבריטית "פיאנו קלאסיקס" הוציאה 25 בלטיקה, הראשון מאז שהוקמה לפני את שני אלבומיו בהם מבוצעות יצירות מאוחרות מאת שופן ויצירות מאת רחמנינוב. הקלטות אלו זכו לשבחי הביקורת ממגזינים חשובים ברחבי העולם. האלבום הקאמרי הראשון של אוסוקינס, בו הוא מנגן עם גדעון קרמר מיצירותיהם של שופן ובטהובן, יצא תחת חברת התקליטים הגרמנית "אקצנטוס" והיה מועמד לפרסים יוקרתיים. זוהי הופעתו הראשונה עם הפילהרמונית הישראלית.
RotemNir, conductor Born in Israel, Rotem Nir is the Conductor in Residence and Head of Music at the Israeli Opera and the Assistant Musical Director at the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion, and was Assistant Conductor at the Israel Chamber Orchestra. He conducted most Israeli orchestras including the Israel Philharmonic, the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion, the Israel Chamber Orchestra, the Israel Camerata Jerusalem, the Raanana Symphonette, the Kibbutz Chamber Orchestra, the Israel Contemporary Players and the Haifa Symphony Orchestra. Rotem Nir participated in the young conductors program of the Verbier Festival where he worked with the festival orchestra and the conductors Lahav Shani and Christoph Eschenbach. He conducted Handel’s Il trionfo del tempo e del disinganno with the Georgisches Kammerorchester in Ingolstadt. Recently, he led the summer conference of the National Youth Wind Orchestra. He won the Golden Baton conducting competition of the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music and the Haifa Symphony Orchestra, and the New Conductors competition of the Israel Chamber Orchestra. He studied at the Ness Ziona Conservatory and at the Thelma Yellin High School for the Arts. He served as an Outstanding Musician in the IDF as an arranger for string quartets, and studied conducting with Yoav Talmi and bassoon with Daniel Mazaki at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music. He participated in masterclasses presented by Osmo Vanska and Ivan Fischer. At the Israeli Opera he conducted Verdi’s La Traviata. In the summer of 2024 Rotem will be an Assistant Conductor to Timur Zangiev at the Salzburg Festival production of Prokofiev's opera The Gambler. Georgijs Osokins, pianist Latvian pianist Georgijs Osokins has gained international attention through his participation at the age of 19 in the XVII International Chopin Piano Competition where he quickly became an absolute Audience Favorite. His interpretations were dubbed by critics as “revolutionary”, “exceptional” and “unpredictable”. Shortly after the Chopin Competition, Osokins made important debuts at the Berlin Konzerthaus, Klavier-Festival Ruhr, Laeiszhalle and Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, International Piano Series in Bern, Lockenhaus Festival, Gstaad Music Festival, NOSPR Concert Hall in Katowice, the Vancouver Playhouse, Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre Hall, and Tongyeong Hall in South Korea. In 2021 Georgijs Osokins performed at the 101st Salzburg Festival alongside Gidon Kremer. In the following season (2022/2023) he had his debuts at Wigmore Hall in London, Sala Verdi in Milan, Shanghai Music Festival and Carnegie Hall (Stern Auditorium) in New York. In 2024 Georgijs makes his solo debut at Pierre-Boulez Saal in Berlin and returns to Milan’s Serate Musicali Festival and London’s Wigmore Hall. Georgij is actively collaborating with Gidon Kremer, touring Europe, Asia and the US. Alongside Lucas Debargue, Georgijs was announced the first permanent Guest Artist of Kremerata Baltica in its 25-year history. UK’s label “Piano Classics” released Osokins' two CD albums focused on Chopin’s Late Works and works by Rachmaninov. These recordings received brilliant reviews from important British, Canadian, German, Danish and French music magazines. German label Accentus has released the first chamber music album of Georgijs alongside Gidon Kremer containing trios of Chopin and Beethoven - this CD was nominated for both International Classical Music Awards 2020 and Opus Klassik 2021. This is his first appearance with the Israel Philharmonic.
